Product development

I help manufacturers decide what to build and take it to production and the market: requirements, technical decisions, suppliers and launch. The products of Boneless Grills, the company I run, are the real example.

A real product: TempPro, by Boneless Grills

  1. The object: a flat controller with its connection edge.
  2. The screen: the temperature graph of each probe.
  3. At rest: the home screen up, the connection edge to the front.

From the object to the system that makes it work

We develop the complete product: electronics, enclosure and controls, software and interface, communication with other devices, and a backend with an API. We also design the technical-service back office and the data collection for warranties and usage statistics. The team, the deliverables and the budget are set for each project.

02 / 03U.S. operations

U.S.operations

I work with foreign companies that want to sell or operate in any U.S. state: checking whether it makes sense, adapting the product, organising import, logistics and after-sales, and piloting a channel before growing.

See the service

Example: the logistics of one order, one kind of operation among many

  1. Set up: the U.S. company, its warehouse and your team take their places.
  2. Connect: a supplier stocks the warehouse and the delivery route opens.
  3. Delivered and checked. The van is back, ready for the next order.

Hypothetical example · fictitious manufacturer and product

A fictitious European manufacturer sells an under-sink water filter in Europe, non-electric and without reverse osmosis, and wants to study the United States.

Starting hypothesis for a first pilot, not a proven market: independent installers and kitchen remodelers in Los Angeles and Orange County.

InteractiveSelect a stage to see what it involves, and compare the two channels below.

Seven stages

Validate customer, competition, channel and margin.

Who would buy the filter, against which alternatives, through which channel and with what margin.

Segment, demand, price and unit economics are still missing; without them the next stage does not start.

No budgets or timelines: every real plan is defined with its company. I am not a lawyer or a tax adviser: structure, tax, licences and compliance are decided with competent professionals for the activity and the location. It includes no immigration advice.

AIautomation

I design automations that work by clear rules and leave exceptions and strategy to a person. The main one replays the real flow of ValerIA, Kinfire’s prospecting bot, with fictitious data.

ValerIA, Kinfire’s prospecting bot

Kinfire, which I founded, offers outdoor kitchen programmes for hospitality, events, golf clubs, residential communities and corporate spaces. ValerIA finds those businesses, researches them, discards the ones that don’t fit and writes to the people responsible.

One fictitious property that fits, one that is discarded

  1. Research: its website and pictures suggest an outdoor space. It is a hypothesis.
  2. Sending: an email written for that property, within the configured rules.
  3. Result: one property contacted and one discarded, with its reason.
